John Wayne Gacy

John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer who was known as “The Killer Clown” who also violently raped, murdered, and strangled young male adults as well as children. At the time this event was happening (1972-1978) he was struggling with his sexuality even as a child. John Wayne Gacy was born on March 17,1942 in Chicago. Gacy had been divorced twice and had two children. Earlier on in Gacy’s life he was an artist then created Pogo The Clown. When Gacy dressed up as Pogo he went to children’s birthday parties and would sexually assault them. 

  His first victim was Timothy Jack McCoy a fifteen year old male. The date of this murder was January 2,1972. Gacy lured McCoy into taking a tour around the city with him. Then Gacy let McCoy stay at his home for the night and promised to take him back to the bus stop in the morning. The next day McCoy wanted to say “thank you” for letting him stay over night by making some breakfast for both of them. McCoy had a kitchen knife in his hand when he went to wake Gacy up. Gacy took it the wrong way and thought McCoy was trying to do something to him. Gacy was trying to obtain the knife by slamming his head to one of  the bedroom doors. When Gacy finally got a hold of the knife he brutally stabbed McCoy multiple times in the chest until McCoy’s last breath. Gacy hid McCoy by covering him in concrete and then he buried him in his crawl space. Gacy was immediately devoted to assaulting young males adults and children. 

Sometimes Gacy would do what he called “doubles” where he would murder two male teens in one night. Gacy would handcuff his victims and do sexual tricks or make them do sexual favors for him. A technique he would use was the “rope trick” where Gacy would strangle his victims with a tourniquet and watch them suffer slowly. 

On December 21,1978 Gacy was caught after murdering at least 33 young males over His last victim was Robert Piest a fifteen year old boy.

Gacy was executed with an injected with lethal poison. His last words were simply “kiss my a**” and now today John Wayne Gacy is at the Mary Hill Cemetery.
